Edinburgh Open Doors Day, Sunday 27th September
The Club took part in this years event (now in its 19th year), organised once again by the Cockburn Association. A presentation was given on the large TV of the Club, its history, its architecture and the history of our nearest neighbours including Bells Mill and the Dean Valley. A selection of printed material was also available, as was a brochure for the day. Alastair Allanach and the Manager (assisted for a while by the Hallam family) conducted escorted tours, and by the end of the day (7pm) we reckon that around 200 visitors had passed through the Club. We also had many enquiries about membership, some of which we expect to mature. For more information about the event, or access to the video and printed material, contact Alastair Allanach.
Early Morning Opening
From Monday 17th August, the Club will open from 7am on weekdays. Entry will be by CARD only. See Latest News article for more information.
