Summer mini team squash
Details, and DRAFT party - Friday 26th March
The Summer Squash Mini-Teams is nearly here and for those who are not familiar with the mini-teams, it is a fun social team tournament that runs throughout the summer for players of all standards. 4 players play each week, players are hanicapped and teams have pools of more than 4 players, so don't worry if you are away for part of the summer - you can still take part.
There are a number of social events that are based around the competition and players are encouraged to stay for a drink after the match, so it is a great way to meet other members.
This year we are going to re-vamp the event with an NFL style draft. The Draft night will include a party and we hope that all players who would like to be involved are able to make it along and find out what it is all about.
The draft will take place on Friday 26th March so put it into your diary.
We also need 16 captains, so if you are keen please let me know - there might be a special night for captains in advance of the 24th at which ideas can be put forward.
