Coaching

Coaching is provided for a wide variety of sports, including squash, tennis and table-tennis.

Regular status updates are available via email (if we have your address!) and on noticeboards

Squash

Squash coaching is provided by our in-house Club Professional, Simon Boughton.

Simon is an England Squash Level 3 Coach

Fees: per session ( 40 mins )

Members £21.00 per session

Non-Members: £18.00 per session plus guest fee (see below)

NB £18.00 is for the session i.e. 2 people sharing a session would pay £9.00 each

Coaching courses for juniors are run throughout the year. Ask reception for details, or view the Juniors page.

Current guest fees (Oct 09) are:

Junior - £3.00

Student - £5.00

Adult - £7.00

2009-2010 Squash training

Ladies Team Training - Mondays 7pm for all those interested in playing team squash in the coming season

Mens Team training - Saturdays 11am for all those interested in playing team squash this season

Ladies - Afternoon Wed 1.30pm - 3.30pm and Ladies Morning Fri 9.30am - 11am

Club Night Fridays 7pm – 9pm. A great way to meet people and get a few games.

Juniors - Wednesdays 3.45pm – 4.45pm

Thursdays 3.45pm – 4.45pm and 4.45pm – 5.45pm

Fridays 4pm – 5pm

Tennis

Tennis coaching is provided for all members

Junior and Adult beginners is given by JENNY HOUSTON, at a fee of £16 per hour

Senior coaching is given by NEIL RUSSELL

Neil is a DCA Coach – LTA Level 3

Neil will be available for both individual and group lessons throughout the summer

Individual lessons can be booked directly with Neil on 07811 352477 at a cost of £20 per hour payable at reception, plus a guest fee for visitors

Junior coaching starts on the 27th April. This is a ten week course for all, Mondays and Tuesdays 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Members cost is £20 for the course, non-members £40. Call 0131 539 7071 forf further information, but your place cannot be reserved unless a form is completed. Spaces are extremely short and early application is advised

Table tennis

Table-tennis coaching for Juniors is available at selected times. Please consult the noticeboards for further information, and ensure your email address is in our system so that you receive regular updates.
